Salary £23,000 - £24,000 + 5% Bonus

The opportunity:

A business with a household name for over 30 years has the opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance department. This is a great chance to join a team which prides itself in offering support and developing skills and knowledge with a very attractive benefits package. The role is full time and would be working out of the Telford branch with an aspect of hybrid working (3 days in office).

• Perform effective proactive & reactive debt collection predominately by telephone & e-mail
• Reconciliation of customer payments & accurately maintaining the sales ledger
• Ensure customers payments are in-line with payment terms
• Early identification & resolution of potential & current issues
• Perform month end processes where required with completion of reporting requirements
• Support the business & management team with project work when required

Essential Knowledge & Experience

• At least two years of experience in a Credit Controller position
• Good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products
• The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
