Our client, an established FinTech that is rapidly scaling, has an exciting new opportunity for a Content Lead to take responsibility for its content strategy. Based from their Amsterdam office and reporting into the CMO, the Content Lead is key to realising our client's strategy to scale up the marketing function using an always-on digital approach.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days based in the Amsterdam office.
Key Responsibilities
- As part of each campaign team, advise on overall campaign strategy, recommend engaging content options to support campaign objectives aligned with media strategy
- Partner with Design & Brand to ensure that content is consistent with the brand's visual identity, voice, and messaging, and to advise on brand extensions that support advanced content strategies
- Develop content across the full funnel - top of funnel emotional content for the unaware; middle of funnel content to keep people engaged; bottom of funnel solution content to make them raise their hand
- Work with the digital and web team to deliver engaging customer journeys on the website
- Engage the product teams to draw out industry best practice and trends to ensure they are always building emotionally compelling content messaging
- Partner with great agencies to develop a wide range of content across research, written, web, infographic, audio, and video ensuring content is on-time, on-budget, and on-quality
- Define appropriate content metrics and monitor performance to support optimisation of campaign and media strategy, driving constant improvement
Person Profile

- You have experience telling stories in multiple cultures and languages across Europe, able to bring cultural awareness and nuance to drive effectiveness
- You have a strong point of view on what amazing content looks like at each stage of the customer journey, working internally and externally to identify new forms of content excellence
- You believe that a great story is a simple one and excel at turning complex topics into easily digested morsels
- Great agencies who build awesome content are your life blood and you use your skills in identifying, briefing, negotiating, and tracking your agencies to achieve high quality results
