We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed-term period to cover maternity leave for 6 months. The Company is evolving, and the Brand and Communications Manager role is crucial in helping the organisation support that journey.

This role will take on responsibility for leading the delivery of our brand proposition through a unified communications strategy. You will be responsible for raising awareness and understanding within the community and beyond. As well as engaging with new audiences through brand storytelling and generating brand moments to help drive action and engagement. Working to build strong relationships with audiences and help deliver the organisational strategy by building brand equity in all internal and external engagements.

your key responsibilities

  • Ensure the brand is aligned to the organisation's strategic direction and everything we do, from marketing communications, culture, values, and innovation
  • Lead the development and implementation of a new set of brand values, ensuring consistency and clarity; both for internal stakeholders in how they're lived and breathed, as well as in a brand experience for external stakeholders
  • Oversee and contribute to integrated marketing and communications plans for key moments and campaigns; incorporating new channels and ideas that represents our core idea to the best effect
  • Drive forward and oversee the delivery of a digital integrated PR strategy through an earned media plan focused on championing us as a credible thought leader
  • Monitor and report on brand and organisational marketing performance, ensuring KPI's are met, and deliver continuous improvement to help maximise brand equity

to be successful, you'll have:

  • Previous line management experience
  • A strategic mind and have solid experience of marketing, PR and communications
  • An understanding of emerging trends, innovations and best practice and be able to recommend innovative ways to engage with our target audience
  • An ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
